ABOUT US

Scott J. Winnick, B.A., LL.B., J.D. is an experienced Ontario licensed lawyer (Barrister & Solicitor – Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, since 1992).  He earned his Canadian law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Windsor in 1989, and his American law degree (J.D.) from the University of Detroit in 1991.  Mr. Winnick articled (interned) in Toronto and Windsor.  He ran his own litigation practice in Windsor, and has had much experience advocating and lobbying on both sides of the American/ Canadian border. 

Having resided, worked, and been educated in both countries, he is familiar with the American and Canadian insurance and health care systems.  As such, he is uniquely situated to advocate for patients' needs within both countries and across the border.
